Commercial roles

Industrial clerk

All our different business functions are connected and during your vocational training course, you’ll find out just how closely they fit together. For example, in purchasing you’ll buy materials for a product that you come across in service provision, marketing, controlling, human resources and order processing. Every project and process needs to be planned in detail, implemented, carefully controlled and documented. Over time, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to liaise with customers or suppliers yourself, negotiating orders, arranging delivery times and controlling the entire order process.
