Assistants for International Office Management (AIM)

We take our curiosity across borders, so we’re looking for great organizers who love foreign languages. Our AIM program gives you the chance to gain two IHK qualifications. After the 12-month vocational training course in commercial office management, you’ll have two more years of training as a business administrator for office and project organization. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain internationally recognized language certificates in English and Spanish.

You’ll be training as one of our office professionals, planning, managing and controlling a variety of projects and supporting management in optimizing work processes. With your specialist skills, you’ll also have the chance to support different specialist human resources or administrative functions. With your qualifications in English and Spanish, you’ll have a wide variety of diverse international roles to choose from.

What you need

  • Successful completion of the German "Abitur" or "Fachholschulreife" or comparable High School diploma
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good social skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capacity to learn new skills quickly
  • Good command of the German language


Your training program

  • Training period (one and a half years): vocational training as a commercial clerk for office management, Qualification: IHK examination
  • 2nd training period (approx. two years): advanced training as a business administrator for office and project organization, Qualification: IHK examination
  • Parallel to both training periods: Participation in two language courses (English, Spanish). Qualification: Internationally recognized language certificates

The vocational training course lasts 3 years

Your career prospects

After you’ve completed your vocational training course, you have a wide variety of further training options:

  • Business economist (IHK) alongside your work commitments
  • Bachelor of Arts


Financing your vocational training course

You’ll be a paid employee during your vocational training. If you live more than 100 kilometers away from the training site and have to move closer, we’ll also pay you a rental allowance for a certain period.
